At Southport State High School, our dedicated team of over 200 full- and part-time staff, volunteers, contractors, and community support representatives works together to provide quality education and care in a clean, safe, and supportive environment for every student.
We proudly employ more than 110 teachers who deliver engaging lessons across a wide range of subjects from years 7 to 12, ensuring every student has the opportunity to excel.
In addition to our teaching staff, our comprehensive support services include career guidance, indigenous support, chaplaincy, school nursing, IT support, scientific assistance, teacher aides, as well as janitorial, grounds, and office personnel—all committed to creating a vibrant, welcoming campus.
Our deans are dedicated to both junior and senior students, working closely with families to address support needs and promote student well-being.
