The Deans of Students form an important part of our leadership, behaviour and engagement team at Southport State High Independent Public School. There are six Deans – one for each year level (7 – 12).
The Deans provide leadership of student management and engagement, as well as personal development. They interact with students, staff, parents, community members and support agencies in a consultative and collaborative manner within their specific cohort of students. The Deans are responsible for the provision of a broad range of challenging programmes and opportunities for students.
The Deans, along with other student support services staff, are located in the student support services facility on the middle floor of F block (F14), facing the Quadrangle.
