Southport State High is committed to ensuring every student achieves their potential and seeks like-minded businesses to collaborate to ensure the Southport area continues to evolve as a world class community.
The Southport State High Alliance will:
- Create opportunities for business promotion and networking.
- Enrich curriculum through local business support.
- Attract work, apprenticeship, and work placement opportunities for students.
- Capture additional financial, physical and human resources for school advancement.
The Alliance was launched Thursday 15 October 2015 with a corporate breakfast. The inaugural event was attended by over 90 business owners, community representatives and education providers. The guest speakers outlined a promising future for the Gold Coast in terms of the broad range of opportunities for education providers and allied industries.
Attendees networked with some of Southport's most influential business people and government representatives to discuss the future synergistic relationship between business and education on the Gold Coast.
Business owners are encouraged to join the alliance and enjoy the range of promotionaly benefits offered by the sponsorship program.
