Bicycle engraving

11/11/2013
Thousands of stolen bicycles are found by police every year. Most bicycle owners never see their bikes again simply because the owner cannot be located.
Engraving or marking your property leaves no doubt as to ownership.
It deters others from taking your property because of the difficulties involved in ‘of loading’ identifiable property and helps police to recover and return items which may have been stolen.
Southport State High School in conjunction with the Queensland Police Service are offering students the opportunity to have their bikes engraved with a personal ID number and registered with police.
Where:  Enterprise Centre, Southport State High School
When:  Friday 6th December 2013 between 1.15pm – 3pm
Who:  All present and future students of Southport State High School.  Parents & guardians are welcome to bring bikes for engraving if students are unable to attend themselves.
