2011 Athletics Carnival Results

Action from the boys' high jump

Southport State High School’s Interhouse Athletics Carnival was held at the Griffith University Athletics Centre on Tuesday 9th August. In what was another very successful athletics carnival, Stradbroke again dominated and raced away to a solid victory in the tussle for champion house honours. There was strong participation in each of the age groups and some very close battles. It was great to see the efforts that students went to in dressing up in house colours. This certainly always adds to the great atmosphere on the day. A huge thank you to all the staff who helped run the carnival so smoothly and made it a great day for all.
